Nicolaj Hoejer Nielsen is the founder and Managing Director of BIOSTRAT Biotech Consulting. Mr. Nielsen has a background as corporate manager within the Biotech industry.
From 2006 to 2007 Mr. Nielsen was Commercial Manager at ALK-Abelló, a Danish biotech company specializing in allergy vaccines. Here Mr. Nielsen was closely involved in M&A deals, licensing and corporate strategy issues and in the management of the group’s international affiliates.
From 2002 to 2005 Mr. Nielsen worked at FOSS, a Danish foodtech company manufacturing analytical instruments for the food-, pharmaceutical-, and chemical industry. Here Mr. Nielsen was Assistant to Group Management, and later Project Manager working with the management of FOSS’ sales-affiliates, mergers & acquisitions and implementation of SAP.
From 2000 to 2002 Mr. Nielsen was a Management Consultant with Strand Consult, a management consulting company focused on the mobile communications industry. Mr. Nielsen provided strategy consulting services to clients within the Telco and IT industry, with a focus on marketing and distribution strategies.
Mr. Nielsen holds an MBA from INSEAD, France and Singapore (2006) and an M.Sc in Business from Copenhagen Business School and University of Texas (2000).
Mr. Nielsen is an Associate Professor at Copenhagen Business School, where he teaches business strategy and strategic marketing on postgraduate courses.
